Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct sets the standards of behavior for everyone on the NxtLevel NIL platform — athletes who coach, parents and customers who book sessions, and the participants involved in coaching. We hold ourselves and each other to a high standard because youth sports works only when everyone shows up with care, respect, and integrity.

Every athlete on the Platform is a verified Division-I collegiate or active professional athlete, held to our SafeSport certification and background-screening requirements. Every athlete also commits to:

(a) Professionalism. Arrive on time, prepared, in appropriate athletic attire. Treat every session as work — because it is.

(b) Age-appropriate communication and behavior. All interaction with participants under eighteen (18) must be age-appropriate, respectful, and aligned with SafeSport standards. No physical contact beyond what is necessary for safe instruction. No private one-on-one settings outside of agreed coaching sessions. No personal-platform contact (DMs, social handles, phone numbers) with participants under eighteen, except through the Platform.

(c) Safety. Coach within your competence. Stop any drill or activity that becomes unsafe. Respond to injuries calmly and seek emergency medical care when warranted.

(d) Honesty. Represent your credentials accurately. Do not coach in a sport or specialty in which you are not qualified.

(e) Confidentiality. Information you learn about participants and families during the course of coaching is confidential. Do not share it.

(f) Mandatory reporting. If you observe or suspect abuse, neglect, or any threat to a minor's safety, you are obligated to report it immediately to safety@nxtlevelnil.com and, where required by law, to local authorities. Failure to report is grounds for immediate termination from the Platform.

(g) NIL compliance. Comply with the NIL policies of your school, the NCAA, applicable state law, and the College Sports Commission's NIL Go clearinghouse (operated by Deloitte) where required.

Parents and customers are the partners we count on to keep the Platform safe and respectful. We ask that you:

(a) Communicate respectfully. Athletes are professionals. Communication should be focused on logistics, the participant's progress, and any safety-relevant information. Coaching feedback can be shared through Platform channels.

(b) Arrive on time. Sessions are scheduled in advance. Late arrivals reduce session value for the participant and disrupt athlete schedules. Repeated lateness may result in cancellation without refund.

(c) Supervision is your decision. You are always welcome to stay, observe, or participate — and you are never required to. Drop-off and pick-up are completely fine. You remain responsible for deciding whether to stay and for the Participant's transportation to and from each session.

(d) Report concerns directly. If anything about a session or an athlete's behavior makes you uncomfortable — even if you're not certain — tell us. Email safety@nxtlevelnil.com or use the form on the Trust & Safety page. We investigate every report.

(e) Respect athlete time. Athletes are managing demanding academic and athletic schedules in addition to coaching. Out-of-session contact should be limited to logistics through Platform channels.

The following behaviors result in immediate suspension or termination of an account, and are referred to law enforcement when applicable:

(a) Any sexual contact, communication, or grooming behavior involving a minor.

(b) Physical, verbal, or emotional abuse of any participant.

(c) Harassment, discrimination, or hostile behavior on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

(d) Use, possession, or distribution of alcohol, illegal drugs, or controlled substances at or around any coaching session.

(e) Possession of weapons at or around any coaching session.

(f) Falsifying credentials, identity, or compliance documentation.

(g) Retaliating against any person who reports a concern in good faith.

Reports can be made by anyone — parents, customers, athletes, third parties — and we welcome them. We treat reports seriously and confidentially.

(a) Email safety@nxtlevelnil.com. Reports are reviewed by the founder, typically within 24 hours.

(b) Use the reporting form on the Trust & Safety page if you prefer a structured form.

(c) For emergencies or threats to a minor's immediate safety, call 911 first. Then notify us so we can support the response.

We do not retaliate against good-faith reports. Where lawful, we will protect reporter identity. We may be required to share information with law enforcement, school athletic departments, or SafeSport in the course of investigation.

Violations of this Code may result in: (a) a documented warning; (b) temporary suspension of an account; (c) permanent termination of an account; (d) refund or other remediation to affected parties; (e) referral to law enforcement, SafeSport, the athlete's school, or relevant licensing authorities.

Decisions are made by the founder based on the nature and severity of the violation, the evidence available, and the safety needs of the community.

This Code of Conduct may be updated as the Platform grows and as we learn from experience. Material changes will be communicated to all athletes and account holders by email at least thirty (30) days before they take effect.
